Beginning on a date unknown and continuing up to and including September 9, 2021, Kurtis Lee Solomon, formerly of Fernley, Nevada, knowingly and repeatedly accessed child pornography websites over the internet and viewed child sexual abuse material that included preteens and babies. Solomon had admitted to having websites containing child pornography saved to his internet browser’s “Favorites.” Solomon was arrested on April 17, 2022, and remained in custody until April 19, 2022.
First Assistant United States Attorney Sigal Chattah for the District of Nevada made the announcement.
This case was investigated by the Department of Homeland Security Investigations with assistance from the Sparks Police Department, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and Lyon County Sheriff’s Office. Assistant United States Attorney Andrew Keenan prosecuted the case.
