New Brunswick, NJ - Woman Found Guilty of Killing Her Son 25-Years-Ago



The State of New Jersey charged Michelle Lodzinski, age 48, with first-degree murder for killing her 5-year-old son in 1991.



At the time, the Defendant told police that she lost her son at a carnival in Sayreville.



Police suspected her of killing her child but did not file charges against her until the child's remains were found eleven months after he went missing and witnesses who could identify the blanket found with the remains were found by investigators.



The Defendant subsequently moved to Florida and had two additional children. She was arrested in 2014.



The State was not able to produce any physical evidence tying the Defendant to the crime.
