Grand Island, NE - The State of Nebraska charged Larry Gydesen, age 44, with motor vehicle homicide, class III and drving under the influence-aggravated, as a result of the drowning death of his friend John Zebert on October 12, 2014. The State alleged that Gydesen was intoxicated at the time of the accident.
The defendant claimed that Zebert had reached a point of safety but elected to re-enter the water where he drowned.
