Davis was accused of being one of two suspects charged in connection to the early morning June 23, 2024, shooting, along with Laquint Tydelle Sarvis, 23, Fayettevill, North Carolina, who pleaded guilty to his role in October 2024. Two male victims sustained gunshot injuries in the incident which arose after an altercation occurred in the area of the 10th block of First Avenue Southeast.
