Loren Smoker was arrested on June 23, 2024 for shooting and killing 27-year-old Dennis Rolon at the intersection of Central Avenue and Shiloh Road. Rolon was found by police inside his car with a gunshot wound to his head, along with several apparent gunshots on the driver's side of the car.
Outcome:
The defendant found guilty and was sentenced to 70 years in the Montana State Prison for the homicide, plus an additional 10 for weapons enhancement. 10 years of said sentence will be suspended, placing Smoker on probation.
