Description:
Personal Injury - Plaintiff, a cheerleader at Central Missouri State University (CMSU), fell while attempting to perform a "Kentucky Double High A Pyramid" cheer for the first time.
In the cheer, three cheerleaders stand on the bottom to form a base, three stand on the shoulders of those cheerleaders, and two "flyers" stand on the forearms of the middle cheerleaders. The plaintiff was a "flyer."
At some point, the other flyer fell and the pyramid collapsed. The plaintiff fell to the wooden floor, hit her head, and sustained injuries.
Jury verdict was for the defendant.
