Waddell & Reed claimed that Torchmark Corp., Ronald Richey, Harold McCormick and Louis Hagopian defrauded it by not disclosing information available to them that should have been dislosed and breach of fiduciary duty against McCormick and Hagopian. Waddell & Reed sought a total of $95.45 million in damages. Plaintiff also attempted to assert a RICO claim but that claim was dismissed on motion for partial summary judgment.
