Research by the Innocence Clinic at the University of Michigan found exculpatory evidence in a file in the Sheriff's office which pointed to Thomas Dillion of Magnolia, Ohio, as the perpetrator. Titus was released after having service 21 years in prison.
Titus could be eligible for more than $1 million under a state program that compensates the wrongly convicted.
