Derrick Leif Becker, age 51, was found to be in possession of child porn when his residence was searched. On July 23, 2025, law enforcement conducted a search warrant on Becker’s residence and seized his electronic storage devices. An examination of the devices revealed over 7,000 unique digital images and over 80 unique digital videos depicting minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct, including depictions of minors engaged in bondage and in bestiality. Becker admitted that he knew the production of the images and videos on the storage devices involved the use of minors and that they were sent over the internet.
Outcome:
The Defendant was found guilty and was sentenced to 180 months in prison.

Under federal law, Becker must serve 85 percent of his prison sentence. Upon his release from prison, he will be under the supervision of the U.S. Probation Office for 15 years.
