No one argues that these statutory amendments apply here. But the amendments are consistent with our ruling under K.S.A. 2022 Supp. 21-6615(a) and Kansas Supreme Court caselaw that a defendant is not entitled to duplicative jail credit toward consecutive prison sentences imposed in multiple cases. Thus, Feikert is not entitled to a duplicative allowance for the jail credit already applied in a separate case.
We affirm the district court's judgment.
