Bloomington, IL - Jury Finds Defendant Not Guilty Of Raping Girlfriend
The State of Illinois charged William Wells, an Illinois State University with sexual assault by force, resisting arrest and obstruction of justice relating to a complaint filed by an 18-year-old woman with whom he was romantically involved and who was visiting with him over the weekend from another community where she was going to school.
Wells claimed that the woman was a willing participant in the sexual activity.
