KRW, a family friend, testified about Evans sexually assaulting her and then attempting to kill her in the early hours of April 7, 1994. Evans came to her apartment requesting to make a phone call. KRW was with her 22-month-old. Once inside, Evans entered KRW’s bedroom, attacked her, held her down, and raped her. He also placed his forearm around her neck until she lost consciousness.¶
Outcome:
The Defendant was found guilty and was sentenced to sentenced to 90 years in prison.
