Convalescent Services and Mariner Health Group sued PricewaterhouseCoopers on a
professional negligence, civil fraud, racketeering and other theories
claiming that Defendant failed to warn them of the risk of
taking Mariner Health Group stock in compensation for merging their company with the Mariner Health Group. Plaintiffs claimed that they lost $120 million when Mariner filed for Chapter 11 protection in 2000.
