Plaintiffs claimed that the Defendants ignored the sale of millions of oxycodone pills to Georgians that they know or should have known were abusing the drugs.



The Defendants denied wrongdoing and claimed that the harm suffered by the Plaintiffs was purely the fault of others.



Evidence produced at trial revealed that a pharmacy in a small Georgia town sold 290,000 oxycodone pills in a town of 1,700.
