On July 17, 2022, Brandon Ramos was a police officer working in a unit to prevent gun violence on weekend nights in downtown
enver. Mr. Ramos and two other officers witnessed a man pull out a gun near a large crowd outside a bar at closing time.
The officers fired six shots at Jordan Waddley, age 21.
Ramos fired his gun twice hitting the Plaintiffs.
Waddy was convicted of possession of a firearm by convicted felon and was sentenced to 30 months in prison.
Ramos was charged with third-degree assault.
