Grand Junction, CO - The State of Colorado charged Israel Massingill with first-degree murder, attempted first-degree muder, patronizing a prostituted child and drug possess as a result of the killing Kiera Quintana, age 17, in July of 2017.



The victim was with another girl who had sex with the Defendant for money. They went to the Orchard Mesa City Market to use an ATM to get money for the girl who had prostituted herself. Massingill shot and killed Quintana and shot at the other girl.
Outcome:
Defendant was found guilty and will be sentenced to life without parole. (LWOP)



Massingill was found not guilty on the charges of sexual assault, menacing, and assault in the 3rd degree.
