According to court documents, on September 10, 2025, at approximately 4:43 p.m. San Francisco Police responded to the intersection of Junipero Serra and Ocean Avenue on a report of a stabbing. Multiple witnesses saw Mr. Rodriguez and the victim, allegedly pushing and punching each other. Multiple bystanders stopped to break up the altercation. While bystanders were attempting to break up the fight, Mr. Rodriguez allegedly walked around the witness and stabbed the victim once in the neck. After allegedly stabbing the victim in the neck area, Mr. Rodriguez walked away calmly. The victim's eight-year-old son was present during the entire incident. Mr. Rodriguez was taken into custody on September 12, 2025, by San Francisco Police in Tuolumne County, California.
