Description:
Michael Walters, a former Maricopa County, Arizona employee, sued the County under the Arizona Employment Protection Act for wrongful termination claiming that he was fired because he reported that county administrators used fictional liability figures in reports submitted to bond underwriters and others. He claimed that he was fired after informing the county's chief financial officer of the mistake and threatening exposure unless the mistake was corrected.

The County claimed that Walters was termianted because pornography was discovered in his computer.
