United States of America v. Justin Abbott Facey

Anchorage, Alaska, criminal defense lawyer represented the Defendant charged with possession of controlled substances (drugs) with intent to distribute, in violation of 21 U.S.C. 841, maintaining a drug involved premises, in violation of 21 U.S.C. 856, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute to a minor, in violation of 21 U.S.C. 8609, possession of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking, in violation of 18 U.S.C. 924, and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, in violation of 18 U.S.C. 922.

Former Anchorage criminal defense lawyer Justin Abbott Facey, age 46, facilitated a drug trafficking organization run by a California prisoner, Heraclio Sanchez-Rodriguez, who was indicted on federal drug trafficking and murder charges in October 2023. To date, over 60 defendants have been charged in connection with the Sanchez-Rodriguez drug trafficking organization.

Facey continued to engage in drug trafficking after the indictment of Sanchez-Rodriguez and other defendants. Between April 2024 and 2025, he utilized his residence to distribute and use controlled substances, including fentanyl and methamphetamine. Facey also possessed multiple firearms in furtherance of his drug trafficking crimes. Facey was suspended from practicing law on February 24, 2025. Prior to suspension, Facey was a practicing defense attorney in Anchorage.

Count 1s: 240 months imprisonment; 5 years supervised release; $100.00 special assessment. Defendant to forfeit interest in the property to the United States as directed.
