Castro admitted that he used an apartment in downtown Houston “in furtherance of his drug trafficking activities.” A closet inside the apartment contained a handgun along with $1,050,086 in United States currency and jewelry worth approximately $1.25 million that “were the proceeds” of Castro’s drug trafficking.
