Description:
Wrongful death - Family of woman allegedly slain by defendant in 1977 sought damages. The court directed a verdict in favor of plaintiffs and the only issue was the amount of damages. Defendant, Ira Einhorn, fled the country and now lives in France but his been ordered extradited by a French court. Holly Maddux body was stuffed in a trunk and set in Einhorn's closet for 18 months before being found. Defendant was convicted in absentia for the murder.
