United States of America v. Kyle A. Vanderpool

Covington, Kentucky criminal defense lawyer represented the Defendant charged with Trafficking LSD.

A Cincinnati man, Kyle A. Vanderpool, 36, was sentenced to 126 months in federal prison, by U.S. District Judge David Bunning, for possession with the intent to distribute 10 grams or more of LSD.



Law enforcement received a report that an identified drug trafficker was traveling to Northern Kentucky to meet a source of supply. Law enforcement observed the individual meet with Vanderpool on July 26, 2021. A drug dog alerted for the presence of drugs in Vanderpool's vehicle. Law enforcement then searched the car and discovered $26,642 in cash and various controlled substances, including 8100 doses of LSD on blotter paper, over 33 grams of liquid LSD, and 20.6 grams of ketamine.



Under federal law, Vanderpool must serve 85 percent of his prison sentence. Upon his release from prison, he will be under the supervision of the U.S. Probation Office for five years.

The investigation was conducted by the DEA. Assistant U.S. Attorney Tony Bracke is prosecuting the case on behalf of the United States.

Defendant was found guilty and Vanderpool must serve 85 percent of his prison sentence. Upon his release from prison, he will be under the supervision of the U.S. Probation Office for five years.
