John Hilton represents plaintiffs and defendants before state and federal trial and appellate courts and administrative tribunals, and has drafted amicus briefs to the Supreme Court of the United States. Mr. Hilton has litigated against private parties, governmental agencies, and an intergovernmental organization; defended against white-collar civil enforcement actions and criminal investigations; and, helped clients comply with state and federal campaign finance and public ethics statutes and regulations. Additionally, in 2008 Mr. Hilton was selected to join a small team of volunteer attorneys drafting model pleadings for a presidential campaign.
In December 2007, Missouri Governor Matt Blunt appointed Mr. Hilton to the Board of Governors of his alma mater, Truman State University.
