Melanie Wilson Rughani serves as a director in the firm’s Oklahoma City office and focuses her practice in appellate law.

Prior to joining Crowe & Dunlevy, Rughani was an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Mayer Brown, LLP, where she was a member of the firm’s Supreme Court and Appellate practice group. From 2007-2008, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Kenneth F. Ripple, United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.

Rughani graduated in 2007 from the University of Virginia School of Law, where she was a member of the Order of the Coif and served as Executive Editor of the Virginia Law Review. She earned her undergraduate degree with distinction in political science and international studies from the University of Kansas.
