Additional Information: I joined the firm as an associate in 2009. I graduated, cum laude, from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2009. While at TTU, I worked with a local attorney and adjunct professor to draft several chapters of an O’Connor’s Federal Causes of Action text. Additionally, I clerked at a local medium sized Law Firm in Lubbock and assisted Philips & Epperson Attorneys, L.P. as a legal research assistant throughout my third-year, giving me the opportunity to put my legal skills into practice. At school I co-ran the law school’s largest organization, the Board of Barristers, and competed in a National Moot Court Competition in New York City. Most importantly, I took care of my son, Oliver.

I am originally from the U.K., and obtained my undergraduate degree at Sheffield University, a top ten university in the U.K. While at Sheffield University I was given a grant to spend time in Italy in order to undertake a literary-historical study of portions of the country. After graduating from Sheffield University, I worked at Ernst & Young, a top four accounting firm, in its Corporate Governance Department. I later moved in-house and worked for Smith & Nephew, PLC; an international medical device company listed on the London and New York stock exchanges.

I may not be a native Texan but I am thoroughly enjoying all that the North Texas area has to offer and establishing myself, my son, and my husband, in the local community. I’m an active volunteer in the Collin County Teen Court program and am looking forward to finding other community activities to join.
