Additional Information: Elek Miller joined the firm in 2010 after graduating from law school. He currently practices in intellectual property law, with a focus on trademarks and copyrights. While in law school, Elek served as Editor-in-Chief of the Ocean and Coastal Law Journal and co-president of the Sports & Entertainment Law Society. He worked as an extern for the Appeals Division of the United States Attorney’s Office, as a student attorney at Maine Law’s Intellectual Property Law Clinic, and as a Legal Writing Teaching Instructor. Upon graduation, Elek received the Edward S. Godfrey Leadership Award, which is presented to the student who has made the most significant contribution to a student-edited law journal during his or her time in law school. Prior to attending law school Elek spent two years at New York University, where he studied public policy, sociology, and the ways in which law and policy affect the creation and dissemination of various cultural products, including art and music.
