Additional Information: With over 35 years of experience in the courtroom, Mr.
McKinnon is an accomplished litigator and one of the founding
partners of the firm. Beginning his career as a criminal law
attorney he has tried cases in federal armed bank robbery,
murder, arson, and rape. Presently focusing his practice in
civil litigation, he tries cases in medical malpractice, major
labor issues, corporate questions, and personal injuries. Mr.
McKinnon has argued before the Supreme Court of Rhode
Island on numerous occasions and has resolved a number
of million-dollar cases. He is the Incorporator and Chairman
Emeritus of the Rhode Island Renal Institute, a 14-year
elected official of the city of Pawtucket, and an active
participant in state politics. While at Providence College, Mr.
McKinnon was a member of both the baseball and track
teams.
