Additional Information: Ed Snyder graduated from the University of Texas School of Law in 1994 and began his legal career as Legal Advisor to the former Chairman of the United States International Trade Commission (ITC). In that role, Mr. Snyder helped enforce U.S. trade laws and represented the United States government on trade missions throughout Latin America. Mr. Snyder joined the McAllen, Texas office of Martin, Drought & Torres in 1996, practicing international business law with specific focus on international business transactions involving Mexico. After 3 years in McAllen, where he served on the first Board of Directors of what is now the McAllen Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, in 1999 Mr. Snyder moved to San Antonio and transitioned his legal practice into an international commercial litigation focus.
Mr. Snyder concentrates his practice on representing Mexican and other foreign companies and individuals in commercial litigation and business transactions in the United States, as well as counseling United States and foreign companies and individuals in business transactions and litigation in Mexico. Mr. Snyder’s international practice encompasses primarily international commercial litigation, including cross border business torts, securities fraud, and international trade litigation. Mr. Snyder is fluentin Spanish.
