Additional Information: Scott H. Wolpert, a Partner at Timoney Knox, has been with the firm since 1992. His practice focuses on civil litigation with a heavy emphasis in the areas of employment, wage and hour, school and special education law.

Mr. Wolpert represents parties in all facets of employee relations, including the litigation of employment-based claims, particularly wage and hour claims, in state and federal court. Mr. Wolpert is a member of the approved panel of attorneys for the Pennsylvania School Board Association's Insurance Trust, for which he regularly handles special education and employment matters on behalf of school districts. He regularly advises employers on liability avoidance and on the proper handling of employment relations. In 2002, he was lead attorney on a multi-million dollar class action suit that resulted in substantial overtime compensation to class members. He is also a frequent speaker in his areas of practice.

Active in many civic and charitable organizations, Mr. Wolpert has served as a mock trial coach through the Pennsylvania Bar Association since 1998. He is a Past President of the LaSalle College High School Alumni Association and is a past member of the Board of Advisors of the Norwood-Fontbonne Academy. Mr. Wolpert also serves on the Maxwell Football Club's High School Awards Committee and is an NCAA and PIAA football official.

He holds a degree in political science from Ursinus College, Collegeville, Pennsylvania, where he received the Trucksess Prize for the study of law. Mr. Wolpert earned his law degree from the University of Richmond School of Law, Richmond, Virginia.

Mr. Wolpert was admitted to the bars of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the State of New Jersey in 1991. He is also admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Before joining Timoney Knox, he was a law clerk for The Honorable Bernard A. Moore in the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas.
