Additional Information: Heather M. She has been a member of the firm since May of 1999, where she contributes her diverse educational and professional background.


Ms. Hulse’s practice consists of Special Education Law, Special Needs Trusts, Estate Planning, and Guardianships. She has broad knowledge in the area of Special Needs Trusts and has presented on the topic for the Philadelphia Bar Association, Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, and World Congress Expo on Disabilities. In addition, Ms. Hulse’s extensive background in the area of psychology provides her with considerable understanding of students with learning differences.


Ms. Hulse graduated cum laude from West Virginia University with a Major in Psychology and a Minor in Sociology. In 1998, she received a Master of Arts in General Psychology from Marywood University. In 2004, Ms. Hulse further specialized in a dual-degree program, earning a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from Drexel University and a Juris Doctor from Villanova University School of Law.


While pursing her Juris Doctor, Ms. Hulse was a student attorney at the Center for Child Advocates in Philadelphia where she developed a research proposal on measurable outcomes and strategies for child advocacy for children with special education needs. The purpose of the proposal was to evaluate the work of child advocate attorneys and to achieve improved quality of special education for children involved with the child welfare system. As part of her Master’s program at Drexel University, Ms. Hulse presented on “Factors Determining the Efficacy of Alternative Education Programs” at the American Psychological Law Society Conference.


In addition to her current legal practice, Ms. Hulse has extensive experience in psychology, including the administration of forensic psychological evaluations and providing therapy to children and adolescents.


Heather is also the mother of two beautiful children.
