Additional Information: Joel E. Sannes graduated from the respected University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law, where U.S. Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy teaches courses, in 1994. He graduated in the top ten percent of his law school class and was a writer and comment editor for the Pacific Law Review. He then accepted two prestigious judicial clerkships, one in federal district court in Anchorage, Alaska, and one at the Arizona State Court of Appeals, before entering into private practice.

For over ten years, he has been a litigator and trial attorney with successful results for clients in technology, real estate and construction cases. He counsels his clients to resolve commercial disputes at the earliest stage possible, but believes that an effective settlement strategy requires a demonstrated willingness to take cases to trial or arbitration, with a track record of success. Joel has had favorable results for his clients in bench and jury trials in federal district court, bankruptcy court, and in state trial and appellate courts in Arizona.

He has also litigated cases through private arbitration involving single-arbitrator and multiple arbitrator panels. In administrative tribunals, Joel has appeared before the Arizona Office of Administrative Hearings in dozens of Registrar of Contractors license hearings, and has also assisted clients in Liquor License and Control Board and Department of Real Estate matters. He has also accepted multiple pro bono appointments to represent indigent clients in the Navajo Nation courts.
