Additional Information: Stacey D. Adams concentrates her litigation practice on the representation of employers in labor and employment matters before federal and state courts and agencies. Her experience covers a full spectrum of labor and employment litigation in both the single plaintiff and class action contexts, including harassment, discrimination and whistleblower lawsuits, restrictive covenant, unfair competition and trade secret actions, retaliation complaints, beach of contract matters and wrongful termination claims. She has developed an impressive record of success for management-side clients at the pre-trial stages of litigation, through the effective use of mediation, discovery and motion practice. Ms. Adams has also successfully represented her clients at both the trial and appellate level. She represents a large range of clients, from Fortune 100 companies to closely-held corporations and public entities.

In addition to her litigation practice, Ms. Adams frequently counsels management regarding employment, personnel and human resources issues that arise in the workplace, such as hiring and discharge matters, reductions in force, wage and hour questions, family and medical leave eligibility, disability accommodations and OSHA compliance. This includes drafting and updating personnel policies and employment handbooks. Ms. Adams has conducted numerous harassment investigations and provided anti-harassment and diversity training to her clients. She has also negotiated and prepared employment and separation agreements, ranging from the hiring of high level executives to large scale layoffs.

Ms. Adams is also experienced in the area of traditional labor law in both the public and private sector, including representation of management in union organization campaigns, collective bargaining negotiations, arbitrations and unfair practice hearings. She has further been involved in the drafting and negotiation of several large project labor agreements in the metropolitan area.
