Additional Information: John Comerford received a Bachelor of Science degree with merit from the United States Naval Academy. He received his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center. During law school Mr. Comerford worked full time as a civilian policy analyst in the Office of the Secretary of Defense and was a senior staff member of the Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics. <P> Prior to attending law school, Mr. Comerford served as an officer in the United States Navy. He completed a tour of duty with a Navy air reconnaissance squadron, serving as Mission Commander during sensitive reconnaissance operations focusing on countries in the Western Pacific and Arabian Gulf areas. He subsequently completed a tour of duty in the White House Military Office, serving as Watch Officer and Deputy Director of the President’s Emergency Operations Center in the East Wing of the White House. <P> Mr. Comerford worked as a summer associate during law school at Bryan Cave LLP in the firm’s Corporate Compliance and Defense, Commercial Litigation, and Antitrust groups. His practice focuses on complex civil litigation in federal and state court, white collar criminal defense, and corporate internal investigations. Mr. Comerford is licensed in Missouri and Illinois and is admitted in the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of Missouri, Western District of Missouri, and Southern District of Illinois. <P> In April 2008, Missouri Governor Matt Blunt appointed Mr. Comerford to a four-year term on the Missouri Veterans Commission. The Missouri Veterans Commission aids and assists all veterans who live in the state of Missouri in all matters relating to the interest and welfare of veterans and their dependents.
