A native of Pennsylvania, Fletcher graduated from Grove City College (B.A., magna cum laude) and from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law (J.D, magna cum laude). While in law school, he was the research editor of the Law Review and a member of the Order of the Coif. He has published various articles in the Journal of the Allegheny County Bar Association (PA). Prior to joining Barnwell Whaley, Fletcher served as a commercial litigation attorney with the law firm of Cohen & Grigsby. After living in Charleston for several years, he decided to return to Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, where he serves as a lector at St. Mary of the Mount Catholic Church. He remains a most productive research associate at Barnwell Whaley.
