Additional Information: Mr. Monroe graduated magna cum laude from the College of Saint Rose in 1999 with a B.A. in English before earning his J.D. degree from Albany Law School in 2004. While a student at Albany Law School, Mr. Monroe was a law clerk in the Appellate Bureau of a local District Attorney’s Office. Mr. Monroe was admitted to practice as a student attorney and participated in the prosecution of various criminal matters in addition to his appellate work. He was also a participant in the Gabrielli Moot Court Competition, has argued before the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, 3rd Department and was a recipient of the Founder’s Scholarship for academic success.

Mr. Monroe is admitted to practice law in all New York State Courts as well as the United States District Courts for the Northern, Southern and Western districts. He is a member of the Albany County Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association.

Mr. Monroe joined the law firm of Thuillez, Ford, Gold, Butler & Young in 2006. He concentrates his practice in the areas of medical malpractice defense, personal injury litigation defense, insurance defense, mental hygiene law and civil rights litigation.
