Additional Information: DONALD A. GARRARD was born in Bakersfield, California on June 6, 1944. He graduated from UCLA in 1966 with B.A. and from Loyola Law School in 1969 with a J.D. degree. He has been practicing law in Southern California since 1970 when he joined the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office. He remained there until 1972 before joining the law firm of Ives Kirwan and Dibble, becoming a partner in 1976. He founded the law firm of Fonda & Garrard in 1979 (later Fonda, Garrard, Hilberman & Davis) and remained there until 1997. At that time he co-founded his current firm, Garrard & Davis, in Santa Monica. Mr. Garrard and the firm are AV Rated by Martindale Hubbell. He is admitted to practice law in the State of California, the United States District Court, and the United States Supreme Court. He is a member of various legal associations including the American Bar Association, the State Bar of California, and the Los Angeles County Bar Association. In his free time, he enjoys time with his family, white-water kayaking, climbing and mountaineering, backpacking, back-country skiing, golf, squash, and travel.
