EXPERIENCE

Ms. Gomez practices in the firm's Appellate and Labor & Employment groups. She has considerable trial and appellate experience in both federal and state courts, as well as in administrative proceedings before the U.S. Department of Labor, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the Colorado Civil Rights Division.

Her labor & employment practice focuses on the representation of employers in litigation of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful discharge, breach of contract and other employment-related claims. She also provides advice to employers in dealing with workplace issues, including hiring, firing, discipline, pay practices, privacy rights, family and medical leave, drafing and application of non-competition agreements, and compliance with federal and state laws.

Her appellate practice focuses on a variety of practice areas, including contract and commercial disputes, labor & employment law, trade secrets, unfair competition, insurance, and attorney's fees.

Prior to joining Holland & Hart in 2004, Ms. Gomez completed a two-year clerkship with the Honorable Charles A. Pannell, Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.

Ms. Gomez is admitted to practice in Colorado and Georgia.
