Additional Information: Gary W. Alderson is an Associate in the Professional Liability Department. Prior to joining the firm, Gary worked in both civil defense and plaintiff’s practices.

Gary is also a Registered Nurse who has maintained licensure and an active nursing practice since 1982, when he was graduated from Wesley College in Dover, Delaware with an A.D.N. Gary has practiced nursing in acute care facilities, as a state regulator, and in home care settings.

Gary is a former Worker’s Compensation Hearing Officer for the Delaware Industrial Accident Board, a former Deputy Attorney General, and former Deputy to the Public Guardian.

Gary is the past-Chair of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Section of the Delaware State Bar Association, and is currently the Section’s Vice-Chair.

Gary is an active volunteer fire fighter and has been since 1974. Gary was inducted into the Delaware Fire Fighter’s Hall of Fame in 1989. Gary is also an Instructor at the Delaware State Fire School and a former Instructor for the American Heart Association.
