Additional Information: Chip focuses his practice on appellate advocacy, land use, real property law, and general civil litigation. As the product of a military family, Chip lived in a variety of places before returning to his family home of Charleston, South Carolina. He went to Furman University where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science. After college he lived and worked in Charleston, becoming an active member of the Exchange Club of Charleston. He received the Club’s first New Member of the Year Award. He went on to attend the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he helped reactivate the Pinckney Chapter of the Phi Alpha Delta Fraternity, serving as first Justice of the newly-reconstituted chapter.

After law school, Chip worked for two years as a staff attorney for the South Carolina Court of Appeals. Chip’s time at the Court of Appeals developed and solidified his writing skills and legal knowledge. Chip became an associate with Pratt-Thomas Walker, P.A. in July 2007, where he has enjoyed tackling complex legal issues.

Chip maintains his membership in the Exchange Club of Charleston and is also a member of the Evening Exchange Club. He currently lives in Mount Pleasant with his wife, Morgan.
