Additional Information: Having first sharpened his skills in parrying opponent's blows as captain of his college fencing team, Mark Berry spent a substantial part of his legal practice as inside counsel supervising litigation. After capping his in-house career as Associate General Counsel at Honda North America, where he oversaw Honda's successful bid to overcome company-threatening all-terrain vehicles litigation, Mark brought his perspective as an insider to Bowman and Brooke.
Mark opened Bowman and Brooke's Los Angeles office in 1991, where he remains the managing partner. He has gone to verdict in numerous jury trials, including catastrophic injury cases in three states, and handled litigation against most of the major plaintiffs' firms in southern California. One of his trials was listed as one of the "Top 10 California Defense Verdicts of 2002" by The Daily Journal. Drawing on his in-house experience, he also has supervised successful national discovery programs and counseled clients on products liability issues.
Mark has been an invited speaker at major legal conferences throughout his career. He is AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell. He was elected a managing partner of Bowman and Brooke in 2002. In 2004, Mark was named a Southern California Super Lawyer, a list voted on by peers and published by Los Angeles Magazine.
