Additional Information: Born in Champaign, Illinois, Patrick obtained his Associates Degree in accounting from Parkland College before completing his Bachelor's Degree at Aurora University in Aurora, Illinois. Patrick was employed in the banking and advertising industries before attending law school at the University of Detroit-Mercy in Detroit, MI. While in law school, Patrick was the Executive Director of the Moot Court Board and interned with Michigan Supreme Court Justice Dorothy Comstock-Riley. Upon graduation, he worked for a small general litigation firm in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. In 2000, Patrick moved his family to Indianapolis where he began his litigation career as in-house counsel for State Farm Insurance. Over the next seven years, Patrick was lead counsel for more than three dozen jury trials, in addition to the hundreds of cases he settled or arbitrated. He is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association; Defense Trial Counsel of Indiana; and a frequent volunteer for church activities and youth sports. Patrick married his high-school sweetheart, with whom he has four children. When time allows, he enjoys playing golf.
