Ms. Smith graduated from Bishop Kelly High School and attended the University of Idaho. Ms. Smith is a 1997 graduate of the University of Idaho and a 1999 graduate of the University of Idaho, College of Law. Following law school, Ms. Smith clerked for the late Honorable J. William (“Bill”) Hart a District Judge in Idaho’s Fifth Judicial District.

In Spring 2008, Ms. Smith joined to the predecessor to Smith Horras, P.A. Ms. Smith is the Secretary, a Shareholder, and a Director of Smith Horras, P.A.

Ms. Smith was formerly a Jerome County Deputy Prosecutor, successfully trying several felony and misdemeanor jury trials to verdict. Ms. Smith started the private practice of law in the Spring of 2002.

Ms. Smith's law practice focuses on the areas of family law, divorce, custody modifications and employment law. Ms. Smith also has substantial experience in the areas of criminal defense, worker’s compensation, personal injury defense, real estate, and civil litigation. Ms. Smith is admitted to practice in all courts in the State of Idaho.

Ms. Smith volunteers her time with CASA serving at risk children in need of legal services. Ms. Smith also serves as guardian ad litem in the local Courts and is an avid runner.
