Additional Information: Richard M. Carson has more than 20 years of legal experience. His clients consist primarily of public energy companies, large and small businesses in various industries, and financial institutions.

Since Richard's admission in the Oklahoma Bar Association in 1991, he has been active in the Environmental Law Section, including serving as its Chairman in 2001 and 2002. He also served as Chairman of the South Central Region of the Auditing Roundtable and has been a speaker at the annual meeting of the Association of Corporate Counsel. At the national level, he has been active on the Legal Opinion Committee and Securities Law Opinion Committee of the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association. Richard was recognized in the Best Lawyers in America 2012 edition.

Richard is involved in several community organizations, including Land Legacy, Tulsa Metro Chamber of Commerce, Tulsa Area United Way, Metro Christian Academy and Tulsa Community College "Launch Your Entrepreneurial Journey."

Representation of a master limited partnership in structuring of its $124 million initial public offering

Representation of a publicly-traded master limited partnership in the $1.6 billion acquisition of a midstream business, and associated debt, equity, and PIPE financing

Representation of an independent oil company in the acquisition of producing properties and preparation of a participation agreement for future development within an area of mutual interest in Kansas

Representation of an energy company in investment financing for the acquisition and development of natural gas producing properties in Oklahoma for use in a gas trust volumetric production payment

Representation of a publicly-traded energy company in establishing a $400 million 364-day revolving credit facility for working capital, mergers and acquisitions, refinancing of indebtedness, and other general corporate purposes

Representation of publicly-traded energy company in selling $2.5 million common units, representing limited partner interests, in a public offering

Representation of several owners and finance companies in the acquisition, disposition, and lease-financing of aircraft.
