Additional Information: Les V. Reddick was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and admitted to the Iowa Bar in 1977 (J.D. University of Iowa, with honors) and Illinois Bar in 1989. He specializes in litigation. <P> He has published: Comment on the Law (Uninsured Motorist Trials), Iowa Defense Counsel Quarterly, 1988; Premises Liability Annual Update, Federation of Insurance & Corporate Counsel, 1995-1999; Investigating Bad Faith Claims, National Business Institute, 1998; Co-Author, Twelve Years Under Iowa's Comparative Fault Act, 1996; and Co-Author, Iowa Motor Vehicle Desk Handbook, 1999. <P> Mr. Reddick is a member of the Dubuque County, Iowa, Illinois and American Bar Associations. He served on the Iowa Bar's Uniform Jury Instruction Committee from 1991-2000. The latter Committee is comprised of eight judges and eight attorneys who draft and publish jury instructions for use by all judges and attorneys throughout Iowa. He also serves on the Litigation Section Council of the Iowa Bar. Mr. Reddick is also a member of Iowa Defense Counsel Association and served on its Board of Directors from 1999-2005. In August, 2005, Mr. Reddick was appointed by the Iowa Supreme Court to serve on the Grievance Commission, which oversees attorney disciplinary matters. <P> In March, 1994, Mr. Reddick was inducted into membership in the Iowa Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). This organization is by invitation only and in order to be eligible for admission as an Advocate a lawyer must have tried at least 50 jury trials. Mr. Reddick served as President of the Iowa Chapter of ABOTA in 2003. <P> In March, 2005, Mr. Reddick was inducted into fellowship of the Iowa Academy of Trial Lawyers. The Academy is limited to 250 lawyers and membership is considered one of the highest honors in the profession.
