He is the managing partner and founder of Suthers & Thompson, which litigates and takes to trial substantial civil damage suits. Mr. Suthers earned an undergraduate degree from University of South Carolina and graduated with honors. He received his law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law. He is a licensed attorney in Georgia and South Carolina, and has extensive experience in cases involving medical malpractice, nursing home litigation, serious personal injuries, wrongful deaths, business and contract disputes, defective products, Federal Employer's Liability Act cases, and railroad litigation. Mr. Suthers has achieved an AV rating by Martindale-Hubbell, the highly regarded legal publication. Martindale-Hubbell conducted an extensive review of the community's legal professionals and determined that Mr. Suthers' ability as an attorney meets the highest of standards and he possesses unquestioned professional ethics. Mr. Suthers was named one of the top 100 attorneys in the State of Georgia by Law & Politics, the publisher of the 2008 edition of Georgia Super Lawyers.
