Additional Information: During his twenty-three years as a civil trial lawyer,
Jim has tried a wide range of civil cases, including
medical malpractice, gender discrimination,
defective roadway, libel, defective products,
automobile collision and many others. He also has
extensive experience as a lecturer and teacher,
having served as a member of the adjunct faculty at
the University of San Francisco Law School and as
an instructor for the Continuing Education of the Bar.

Jim is recognized by the Consumer Attorneys of California for his experience in the fields
of medical malpractice and personal injury. At Brayton, Purcell, Curtis and Geagan, he
supervises the General Civil Litigation Department and the Appellate Department. He
