Additional Information: As managing partner of a full-service, rural general practice law firm, I am one of nine attorneys in the firm. We specialize in the unique legal issues relating to agriculture and rural America. In addition to managing the law firm, I have 25 years experience in all sizes and types of real estate and commercial transactions. I am lead attorney for three rural electric/telephone cooperatives, an economic development corporation, an agressive local credit union, and the City of Havre, Montana, in addition to a broad array of private rural clients. In small, rural areas, attorneys usually engage in a general practice, serving the needs of a broad client base. Our law firm covers all major areas of the law, with well trained and experienced real estate, agriculture, tax, litigation, probate and estate planning attorneys working in a collaborative environment. As a civil engineer in a brief previous career, I bring a strong science and mathematics background with attention to detail and strong writing and communication skills.
