Additional Information: Kevin Haverty is an experienced Attorney engaged in the representation of plaintiffs in medical malpractice and other significant personal injury cases. He was born July 5, 1957 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 1981 from Rutgers University, obtaining admission into the National Political Science Honor Society. Following graduation, he worked for the County of Camden, New Jersey for ten years, rising to the position of Deputy County Administrator. During that time, he became one of the earliest Certified Public Managers (CPM) in New Jersey. He pursued graduate studies in energy economics at the University of Pennsylvania and then attended Rutgers School of Law in Camden where he graduated with high honors in May, 1992. He was an Articles Editor for the Rutgers Law Journal and authored a law review note published in the Journal in 1993 which was cited by the New Jersey Supreme Court as well as two federal district courts. After graduating from Rutgers Law School, he joined the Law Offices of Michael S. Berger--the forerunner of Andres & Berger-where he has concentrated on plaintiffs' medical malpractice cases. From 1994 to 1997 he was also an adjunct professor of legal research and writing at Rutgers Law School and has been involved in several precedent-setting cases before the New Jersey Supreme Court and the federal district court in New Jersey. He is a frequent lecturer at continuing legal education seminars on various topics dealing with substantive and procedural law in New Jersey. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Association of Trial Lawyers of America, Association of Trial Lawyers of America--New Jersey and the New Jersey and Camden County Bar Associations.
