Additional Information: Mr. Brewer is in the 50th year of a strong and exemplary practice after having first served as Law Clerk to Chief Justice Levi S. Udall, Arizona Supreme Court, 1958-1959. Since that time, and since establishing his law practice in 1960, Charles Brewer has vastly changed and contributed to Arizona law regarding personal injury claims. Moreover, his success has transformed the way that many companies conduct themselves, including many legislative changes. Having tremendous success in dozens of Appellate cases, the most recent change came in 2007 entitled Hernandez v. Sonoran Desert Investigations (SDI).

During his 50 year practice, he and his firm have focused on litigating products liability, wrongful death, and catastrophic injury cases against many fortune 100 companies. Over the years, Mr. Brewer has settled dozens upon dozens of million dollar and multi-million dollar cases, either by trial or by settlement. Because of the number of successes, Mr. Brewer has become known as the "dean" of the Plaintiff’s bar. In fact, one writer from the Arizona Republic called Charlie a legal “Gladiator” and the Phoenix Gazette wrote that Mr. Brewer was “Relentless” in the prosecution of his cases. In 1985 Mr. Brewer funded an endowment to the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University known as the Charles M. Brewer Professor of Trial Advocacy that still exists today. Around 1987 Mr. Brewer was by selected by Federal Judge Julian Cooke to represent the victims as a senior member of the Plaintiffs' Steering Committee of Northwest Airlines crash, Flight No. 255. Of the 155 people aboard that Flight, 154 lost their lives when the plane crashed into a bridge on I-94 in Romulus, Michigan.

Mr. Brewer is a Fellow of the International Academy of Litigators. “The Academy is a group of truly elite trial lawyers representing both sides of the Bar: prosecutors and defense lawyers in criminal cases, and plaintiffs' and defense counsel in civil litigation (including business and personal injury cases) As to U.S. Fellows, the Academy's bylaws limit Fellowship to 500 active trial lawyers.” (See: www.iatl.net) In addition to that distinction, Charles Brewer has attained Martindale-Hubbell's highest rating (AV) for legal ability and ethical standards. He is a Certified Specialist in Person Injury and Wrongful Death governed by the Arizona Board of Legal Specialization. He is listed in Best Lawyers in America for the 2010 edition and had been listed in that publication for most of the last 25 years. In addition, Mr. Brewer is listed as a Superlawyer in superlawyers.com. He is a life member in the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. In this select forum, only about 1% of attorney's in the country are members. He is a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association and has been inducted by that organization as one of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers for Arizona (see: www.theatla.com). Lastly, Mr. Brewer’s passion is to fly jet aircraft and is a Jet Rated Airline Transport pilot and an active member of the lawyer-Pilots Bar Association.
