David Rozema was elected as Coconino County Attorney on November 1, 2008, and he took office on January 6, 2009. Previously, Mr. Rozema served as Chief Deputy for the office from 1996-2008.

Mr. Rozema is a strong advocate for collaborating with the community on prevention efforts and other types of community service. He has served Coconino County in many capacities over twenty
years, including Big Brothers Big Sisters, United Way, Flagstaff Leadership Program, Citizens Against Substance Abuse and the Western Navajo-Hopi Meth Task Force.

Mr. Rozema received a Bachelors Degree in Social Work (Outstanding Graduate) from Arizona State University in 1983, where he also graduated from the College of Law in 1986. He is Past President of the Coconino County Bar Association and is also a licensed attorney with the Navajo Nation, where he previously served as an elected Commissioner with the Navajo Nation Bar Association.

Mr. Rozema has lived in Arizona for forty-five years. He and his wife Linda moved to Flagstaff in 1988 where they have raised their four daughters.
